What operating system are you using?
Do you have security software installed?
How old is the hardware?
How much memory installed?
Have your computers been rebuilt (disk formatted and operating system and applications reinstalled) at any time? All PCs at some point need to be rebuilt.
Do you backup your data? Include emails.
Do you install system updates? service packs apllication updates, virus definitions etc.

Reasons for asking, determines best advice solution. If your operating system is Windows XP, your hardware is five years old, and you never rebuilt your PC then your best option is to back up the data and rebuild your computers provided you have installation disks and application disks. Alternative solution and by far the better one, back up your data (include emails), remove historical data no longer required (include emails), remove applications not used. Wait for Windows 7, (released later this year) and replace your computers. Without more information its not possible to give you best advice.

Accepted Bid #1

Amount: $157 Fixed Fee

Country of Freelancer: United Kingdom  United Kingdom

Acceptance Reason: Reasonable price (although not the cheapest I was offered). I liked the look of his website and I definitely wanted someone who was going to come round and sort it as I don't have the time to sit while someone talks me through it remotely.

Estimated Start Date: Within 3 Business Days
