Coffee Van Logo design

I need a logo designed for my coffee van business. I also want to ensure the logo can be copyright protected for the future so I also need some sort of IP search done in tandem with the design. The logo will be used on uniforms, a website, business cards and printed on the vans and so simplicity will be quite important. I am thinking of basing the logo on either an outline of a coffee flower or the tulip shape used in latte art (any google search will show good examples of either). The business will be utilising renewable energy to power the coffee machines and the vision for the business is sustainable, quality, fairtrade coffee. I also want the business to be seen as forward-thinking and innovative. These themes should come through in the design where possible.
