Hi. I\'m looking for a UK-based writer/journalist.

I run a digital marketing agency in Manchester, and I want someone to take on a large proportion of the blogging and article writing that I currently do for clients.

Being a former journalist myself, I\'m a big advocate of the part that good quality content can play in helping a company develop its online presence. I also value quality writing.

The person I want will be happy turning their hand to everything from B2B marketing to the coffee trade, legal matters and investment management. In short, you must be happy writing about anything. I\'ll expect you to speak to the client direct (essentially you\'d be considered part of my company), have an appreciation of how to optimise content for the web, and an ability to write engaging, interesting, eye-catching copy on even the most mundane of subject matters.

I\'ll need you to be flexible, easily contactable and happy to turn round a blog post in a short space of time. I\'ll want to very quickly be able to trust you enough to delegate work to you with minimal brief that I know will be returned at a high standard.

If you are the right person, it would be good to get you on a retained monthly contract as soon as possible.

I would be interested in this position. I am English and have degrees in medical biochemistry and law and am now a freelance writer and have written on a number of subjects - legal matters, tourist articles, hotel reviews, dentistry and so on.

I run my own websites and blogs and am very familiar with writing for article directories, blogs and search engines.

Please could you given an idea of how many articles/blog posts you would expect in an average month?

What kind of work commitment are you looking for each month? Do you have any indication of how many articles you would require and their respective word counts?

I really like the "feel" of you and your company and would love to be a part of it.

You're looking for a fixed fee so how many words should we be quoting on for this first project, please?
