Participant Recruitment Lead
About the role We are recruiting a founding cohort of senior professionals for a new consumer product. Around 50 are already engaged, and we need someone to drive the rest to a target of 130, with 100 as the minimum baseline plus a reserve list. This is a focused acquisition role. Your single job is to fill the funnel: generate qualified applications through direct outreach, partnerships, referrals and community channels, and hit a clear weekly target. It suits a commercially minded operator who is persuasive in writing, comfortable approaching senior people, and motivated by a number. You will report to our Head of Founder Office and work to an agreed recruitment target and timeline. A separate team handles screening, onboarding and cohort delivery, so you can stay focused on acquisition. What you will do • Build and run a recruitment plan to secure the remaining cohort participants against a weekly target • Activate existing warm leads through thoughtful, persistent follow up • Identify and approach relevant communities, professional networks and potential distribution partners • Conduct direct outreach to suitable prospective participants • Design simple referral and partnership approaches that generate qualified applications • Track channel performance and conversion, and shift activity fast when a channel is not delivering • Work closely with the delivery team so qualified applicants move smoothly into screening What we are looking for • Demonstrable experience recruiting people into a study, beta, community, programme, event or membership cohort, and hitting a target • Proven ability to generate interest through outreach, partnerships, referrals or community channels, not solely processing inbound • Confidence approaching and corresponding with senior professionals • Excellent, persuasive written English and a warm, credible style • Strong operational discipline managing a target-driven funnel • Self-directed, persistent, and calm under a busy schedule • Available to start within a week and commit across the full engagement Backgrounds that fit: community growth, partnerships, participant recruitment, research operations, membership or audience growth, founder-led or startup environments. Details • Contract: approximately 6 weeks, aligned to the recruitment window • Rate: to be proposed based on current market rate for this type of role • Location: remote, UK-based strongly preferred given the participant audience • Start: immediate • Target: 130 participants, 100 minimum baseline, plus a reserve list • Working pattern: Mon-Fri To apply Send your CV and a short response covering: • A cohort, community, study or programme you helped recruit • How you generated participants, and how many you secured • Your availability and rate expectations Reviewed on a rolling basis, so apply early.

Tier 1 Media Placements Partner
We are building a vetted supplier roster for legitimate feature articles, contributed articles, interviews and brand profiles on established Tier-1 business, finance, technology and news publications. Priority publications include: • Forbes • Fast Company • Inc. • TechCrunch • WIRED • Entrepreneur US • VentureBeat • BBC • The New York Times • Financial Times • The Wall Street Journal We are also interested in comparable national and global Tier-1 publications in these sectors. We are not looking for generic press-release syndication, unnamed "DA 50+" sites, private blog networks, link insertions or publication claims without evidence. If your route is paid, sponsored, contributed, partner content, regional, syndicated or earned-media outreach, state that clearly. Do not describe paid placement as earned editorial coverage. For outlets such as BBC, The New York Times, Financial Times and The Wall Street Journal, clearly distinguish genuine editorial outreach from any paid, partner or syndicated route; guaranteed editorial coverage claims will require exceptional proof. For EACH website you can genuinely offer, include: 1. Exact domain, country edition, vertical/section and publication type. 2. Your all-in price and currency for one article. 3. Three recent live sample URLs delivered through the same author, contributor or publishing route, preferably from the last 90 days. 4. Exact link treatment: dofollow, nofollow, sponsored, UGC, redirect or no link. State any disclosure label. 5. Whether we/client supply the article, you write it for approval, or both options are possible. Include word count and revision limits. 6. Realistic time from approved brief/content and payment to live publication, including editorial review. 7. What happens if the article is rejected, delayed, edited materially, removed or the link changes. Include refund/replacement terms and minimum live period. 8. The named author profile or contributor route used, plus any restricted industries or topics. 9. Your PeoplePerHour track record for comparable placements. We will independently verify every sample, author route, disclosure and link attribute before selection. We expect to begin with test placements and build an ongoing relationship with suppliers who provide accurate information and consistent quality. Please quote each publication separately. A generic proposal without exact domains and live samples will not be shortlisted.

Comic/Graphic Novel Artist — Kickstarter Sample Pages
I'm looking for a comic/sequential artist to produce a set of sample pages and character reference sheets for a Kickstarter campaign. If the campaign funds (which is the intention and the plan) this becomes the start of an ongoing commission to illustrate a complete graphic novel (approx. 70–100 pages), with you as the artist throughout. This is the important part: I am looking for a reliable long-term collaborator (I've been burned before), not a one-off gig. The Kickstarter package is a paid trial for both of us (I expect no freebies). If it goes well and the campaign funds, there is a substantial, properly paid body of work to follow: full-page-rate, staged payments, clear deadlines. Please only apply if you can commit to ongoing availability over several months if this progresses. Flakiness at the sample stage is the main thing that would rule someone out of the full work. The story A decades-spanning graphic novella (working title: Get In, Get Up, Get Out) about two men — one white, one Black, both drawn as genuinely desirable in their own distinct registers whose relationship begins with a paid encounter and becomes a lifelong, unlabelled attachment. Told in short, mostly-dialogue vignettes across roughly 35–45 years, from a hotel room in the late 1980s to old age. It is frank, (probably) funny, emotionally restrained, and set in London. Art style Naturalistic. Real anatomy, real light, real ageing. Not stylised, not cartoon, not manga. Faces need to hold likeness across dozens of pages and communicate a lot with very little (a look, a held silence, a hand). If your portfolio is mostly stylised or cartoon work, this probably isn't the right fit. However, if you're not sure, ask. Content and themes — please read before applying The story is adult in subject matter but not sexually explicit — nothing sexual is ever depicted on the page; everything happens in the gutter between panels. That said, the themes include: ** Sex work (male escorting) as the origin of the central relationship ** A gay/bi relationship between two adult men, spanning decades ** An interracial relationship, handled without the story ever making race the subject of dialogue ** A lot of swearing ** Ageing bodies, injury, and mortality (the story ends with both men elderly) ** Class and money as a recurring, sometimes uncomfortable thread Please only apply if you're genuinely comfortable illustrating all of the above. I'd rather find that out now, at the sample stage, than four pages into the full book. No judgement either way — just be honest about it in your application. What's needed for this initial package (please see the Artists Brief attachment) ** Character reference sheets for both leads (front/three-quarter/profile, plus hand studies at different ages) ** An "ageing chart" showing both characters at several life stages, same pose, tracked side by side ** 1 fully finished, lettered sample pages ** A cover concept What I need from you ** Examples of sequential work — several consecutive panels/pages, not just single illustrations showing you can hold a likeness and stage two people talking in a room ** Your day rate or per-page rate ** Confirmation you've read the content note above and are comfortable with it ** Availability over the next few months, and realistically beyond if the campaign funds ** A willingness to meet in person (if in London) or to video conference if not. I like to see who I'm collaborating with and hear their voice Process I'll be paying for a short test pages at full rate before any commitment either side, so you can see the material and I can see the fit. No unpaid samples requested or expected. If I get the Kickstarter funded you'll get your full rate. Happy to answer questions before you apply.

I'm a Steel Detailer based in the UK who works with the software Tekla Structures. I'm looking for someone who could provide a couple of high quality snapshots from some of my models, but rendered. Tekla is a very powerful software to produce steel structures, but very very limited in terms of presentation, and I haven't been able to find a secondary software able to use the files I can export from it (.ifc) - the purpose is to use some of these photos for my new website, so initially would need some key images to build the website itself, and if it works well there will be a continuous colab to keep updating the gallery. Attached a small example of a Tekla model for reference. Thanks a lot Dan Martins

A US-based drive-thru coffee chain with multiple locations is looking for a web developer to design and build a new marketing website. This is a one-time, fixed-scope project, with the possibility of ongoing maintenance afterward. Our current site is dated and hard to maintain, and it does not reflect the energy of the brand or serve our customers well on mobile, which is where almost all of our traffic comes from. We want a fast, modern, mobile-first website that makes it easy to find a location, browse the menu, and connect with the brand. Scope of work: A marketing website of around 8 to 10 pages: home, menu, our story, locations, careers, franchising enquiry, contact, plus standard legal pages A store locator where customers enter a city or ZIP code and see nearby locations with address, hours, and directions; we will provide the location data in a structured file A menu section organized by category, easy for our team to update as items change, with support for seasonal and limited-time items Clear links out to our existing mobile ordering and rewards app on iOS and Android; the app itself is not part of this project A careers page with current openings and an enquiry form, and a separate franchising enquiry form, both routing submissions to the right inbox Built so our marketing team can update content, menu items, and locations themselves without touching code Technical requirements: Mobile-first and fully responsive, fast on phones on mobile data Built on a maintainable, well-established platform; tell us your recommendation and why Strong on-page SEO and local SEO, since customers search by location, with correct structured data for a business with many outlets Accessible to WCAG AA standards Correct link previews when pages are shared on social media What we will provide: Brand guidelines, logo, fonts, colors, and photography Final copy for all pages Location and menu data in a structured file A named contact to answer questions and approve work Deliverables are the completed responsive website, tested across major browsers and devices, with an editable content system, basic analytics in place, and a short written guide plus one walkthrough for our team. To be considered, please share two or three live websites you have built, ideally multi-location or hospitality businesses, with links rather than screenshots. Tell us which platform you would recommend and how you would approach the store locator, and confirm your timeline and availability. Applications without live examples will not be shortlisted.
