A couple of points: Quite a lot of people have pointed out that it\'s not fair to base their performance on my interviews. I agree with this, so, if this CV gets me to interviews, I shall deem it successful and close/pay the project. Let\'s quantify that by saying 5 interviews over a 2 week period. As is everything in life, this is negotiable. I have received too many generic cut & paste responses, which I\'ve deleted immediately. I need someone who appreciates that a personal touch is critical... You don\' need to bid a particular price, as I\'ll pay more generously for a result. Also, if anyone\'s interested, I\'ll put a bounty on my placement. My salary history is £90k-300k, so if you can find a suitable position, I\'ll offer 1% of annual compensation. I can list this as a new project. Anyway, the next stage is to get a copy of my CV out to you, and you can decide if you can help. |

Hello Tony B In your reply to the various messages, you still don't say exactly whether or not you mean you will only pay for the rewrite if you get the job you are applying for, which is odd. It also rather begs the question that if you have had a 100% success rate at interviews, why does your CV need a rewrite? No CV should be longer than a page, BTW. Most employers aren't that interested in long lists of qualfications unless the job is qualification-specific-e.g medicine! |

Frankly what you say is a little wierd. Your CV isn't putting in the effort required? How is that? Sounds as though you have not been putting the effort into your CV! If I were you then I would use a service available through the Guardians' online website called the Fuller CV. I used their service and it is excellent. I think your requirements are a little odd. You can't expect to impose a condition such as payment when you get a placement, as this will depend on entirely random factors which may have nothing to do with your CV. Show your CV to some trusted business associates and get them to critique it. Sounds as though you want to put all the responsibility onto someone else. The sooner you start to take responsibilty for your success yourself the better. A good CV should never exceed two pages. |

There does not seem to be a clear picture here. Either ,you wish for a good CV, and are prepared to pay for it,in that case I will bid, however, if not you are asking too much to expect. |

Hi Tony I have bid for this but must ask the questions: 1. how do you envisage guaranteeing that the successful bidder will be notified if you are successful? What safety net as providers, do we have? 2. The whole point of the CV is to attain an interview - we can't be responsible for your performance at that time, so I'm assuming that is the "placement" you are talking about, not actually being offered a job on the basis of it? Regards Claire |

| The CV is currently 3 pages. This project is open to any UK-based native English speaker. The fee is payable upon placement. To date, I have a 100% success rate at interviews. | |||

Hi, I am interested in placing a bid. But first off, I\'d like to check that you do not mind that the person correcting and re-working your CV is not a qualified Human Resources worker. I am a Journalist and writer - and get almost any job I apply for due to my CV. Also, can I check that the fee will be paid in total at the end of the work? And that the fee is £250-£500? Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Polly. |
