I am an award-winning ...scriptwriter, and lecturer, currently writing for film, radio, stage, animation, the Internet and mobile phones. I began by writing comedy... for the BBC, working with producers like The Office's Anil Gupta and Ash Atalla. I gained some dozen commissions from the BBC, writing for top comedians like Alistair McGowan, Ronni Ancona and Sanjeev Bhaskar, and I also wrote for the BAFTA-nominated Rory Bremner, Who Else? on Channel 4. I moved into stage drama and became Writer in Residence at The Canal Cafe Theatre, with plays produced in Edinburgh, London and New York. Right so the bit where I sum myself up, but first, some colour; I like to travel, love to read and, depending on whether I'm sitting down or standing up, I tend to put my trousers on one leg at a time. Cartoonist and Flash Character Animator

Hi, I am a freelance cartoonist and Flash animator. I began working as a cartoonist in 1996, drawing spot gags, comic strips and illustrations for newspapers and magazines as well as several series of greetings cards. I currently draw a weekly topical joke in London's Jewish News. In ...2000 I began creating animations, both for clients and for my own projects. My work appeared on the Paramount Comedy... TV channel and before long Techno Designs IP in Holland – one of only a handful of companies licensed by Microsoft to create Flash animated content for Messenger (winks, DDPs, emoticons) asked me to design content for them. I created over 150 animations for them which are being sold and distributed in around 20 countries. In 2006, I also began designing Flash animated eCards. As well as animating these, I have often scripted them, created and performed musical backing and in many cases provided the character voices and narration. I regularly create new cards for sites both in the UK and abroad, as well as hosting a large selection on my own website. Recently I have been working on longer animations, including pilot TV shows and product explanatory videos. These have been voiced by the likes of Dave Benson Phillips, Rolf Harris and Mark Steele. I have also created many bespoke smileys, including those on the PPH forum. As well as working freelance, I teach courses in Cartooning and Flash Character Animation at The Institute in London. Ihave a varied background within the IT industry, working for both a payroll company as a programmer and then as a system management advisor with the ...utility company National Grid. I am also a writer, current projects include working on my autobiography as well as comedy... script writing. I have been writing privately for many years but I am just now getting it out into the public domain. I specialise in automated/intelligent spreadsheets and have automated many management information processes in my last position resulting in vast reductions in resources required. National Grid also ran all of its leavers/recruitment processes on databases that I created. These were created and maintainted by myself on my own for over ten years before a team was finally created. A better outsourced solution could not be found. I trained the new team. I am choosing now to go freelance as the office I worked it at National Grid closed. Working from home suits my personal circumstances although I can travel or be office based if the project requires it. I am also registered with Apple and am currently creating iphone and iPad applications.
