Mi Concepts has produced an online software for Clients to manage spending from various departments, representatives and agents on Contractor services. It enables Contractors to quote for works, and monitor the spending themselves. This is to prevent any user exceeding the agreed legal threshold for spending under any one contract.
We require a contract in place for software users, which acknowledges their responsibilities and limitations when using the software. It must:
Protect Mi Concepts legally in terms of liability, portal misuse, and responsibility for the actual payment or execution of Contractor services. The software is a medium to allow the communication and administration of services and payments, but ultimately the responsibility must be on the Client and Contractors.
It must entitle Mi Concepts to be able to freely administrate any of the forms and pages on the site / software, in order to fix any problems or accomplish the aims of the users.
It must entitle Mi Concepts to access all the data provided by its users. It must also acknowledge that certain data will be made available publicly and to other users, for example in order to promote the contractors to other portal users.
Contractor details will be used to advertise the Contract Portal. This will also be beneficial to the Contractors in order to provide them with work.
There must be a clause in the contract saying there is an administration fee of % for any works approved through using the Contract Portal. This is due to Mi Concepts as part of the contract.
