i need to create a surface from a group of tracking points that i imported from aftereffects camera tracking , i don't have time to do it by hand or to write the script by my self
please let me know how you would price this , and if you have a better idea .
so i thought about creating a plane object by hand that would be as big as the group of helpers i imported
then using intersect ray from each of those points towards the surface of the plane
and using "insert vertex" in polygon mode (editablepoly) to refine the surface and create a vert in the position of the intersection , then moving that vert to the position of the helper .
and doing that for each helper
then leaving all the newly generated verts selected .
another user suggested to try and use
nvpx.CreateConvexFromPoints
although i don't know if its harder or easier then what i thought about writing.
