This is an easy one, but somehow beyond me !

I am using using Windows CE 5.0 on a Webpad to run an application requiring that the built-in Bluetooth device be activated, so as to pair with a GPS device. The Webpad works perfectly with the GPS, no problem. However, after booting into the desktop, to activate - swith on - the onboard GPS, I have to click on Start, Settings, Control Panel, Bluetooth Setting, Activate in order to switch on the built-in bluetooth, and after all that you cannot close the Bluetooth Settings window without switching off the Bluetooth aaahhhhhhhhhh!

What I want is a simple registry tweak to switch on the Bluetooth when the OS is booted up or reset. Simple! So this will mean the default bluetooth setting is ALWAYS ON (unless switched off from Bluetooth settings in Control Panel). I have not been able to find the relevant link in the Registry for the "Bluetooth Settings" icon, so I cannot change its attributes myself. I do not want to write a new OS, as this is bound to be too expensive for what I want to achieve. I just want to change the default setting for this device in either the Registry or through an API that runs from the /Windows/Startup? folder. This way my application can boot up automatically without all the mouse-clicking to "Activate" Bluetooth. Please note that I am not refering to the "Bluetooth Device Properties" icon, also in Control Panel (for enquiry of detectable devices), but to the icon with the "ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE" button. Also note that my enquiry regards Windows CE 5.0, not any other variants like Mobile 5 or Mobile 6, etc etc.

Device is Geode GX533 X86, 256mb Ram, 512Mb SSD, CRS Bluetooth, Cisco Wifi.

Although this can be done remotely, after all it is not unique to my product, but rather the OS, if you are near the London are area, I could come down with the Webpad.
