Description
Experience Level: Expert
The website is www.midastouchweddings.co.uk. My old web developer designed the site for me, but there are a few minor flaws that need to be ironed out before I begin to accept orders through the site. The website uses Wordpress and is a fully e-commerce business. Therefore I need a developer who is fluent in the checkout development of Wordpress and is capable of resolving the minor problems I am about to detail. The problems that I need a developer for to resolve are:
1- the payment logo icons for what card symbols are accepted are not appearing at the bottom of the website footer, whereas before they were appearing.
2- although I have trial run the checkout and paid for products myself using the checkout area of my website, and have seen notification emails arrive that say I have been paid and for what products, the checkout area sadly does not show the CUSTOMER that their card payment has gone through. It instead registers an 'error', and asks them to try again with their payment. This problem is only inherent with the Worldpay method. The Paypal method works fine, and does not register any errors. The danger with all this is obviously that customers are left believing that they didn't pay for what they wanted from the website, and may attempt more than once to pay through the checkout area using Worldpay. This is unprofessional and needs emergency resolving,
3- I have been told that my website does not work properly using the Chrome browser. Notably the checkout area does not work properly. I need the developer to ascertain if this is true (I do not use Chrome myself), and to resolve any and all issues with the view-ability of the checkout area in the Chrome browser. Again, this is a top priority as many customers favour using Chrome because of its added security benefits when using checkout areas on the internet.
Please note I will only employ a UK based developer for this job. For someone who is skilled in developing websites, the issues that I have detailed for resolution are simple and basic to resolve, hence my budget is set as shown.
Thank you in advance.
Extra services needed: Customization, Security
Specific technologies required: WORDPRESS AND E-COMMERCE CHECKOUT AREAS.
Extra notes: General information for the website: The website sells wedding stationary and is a e-commerce website using Wordpress.
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
