Experience Level: Intermediate
A small but highly successful 2 man web design company seeks an administrator for a wide variety of tasks.

The role is home based although you will initially need to work at our Milton Keynes office for a minimum of one month to receive the necessary training.

Key requirements...

1. You must be based in the UK.
2. You must be looking for a full time homeworking position on a long term basis as we will invest a large amount of time in training you.
3. Working hours are primarily 9 to 5.30 Monday to Friday, although given this is a homeworking position you will be able to have some flexibility in exactly when you work.
4. Excellent organisational skills.
5. Ability to manage your own workload and using your own initiative.
6. Very good all round IT skills with popular software such as word, excel, outlook.
7. Knowledge of HTML and CSS for web design or experience with Dreamweaver and Fireworks would be helpful although not essential as training will be provided.
8. Good communication skills are essential, both verbal and written.
9. Accuracy and attention to detail when following checklists.
10. Due to some phone work required with clients, no barking dogs, screaming kids, etc in the background would be suitable!

Work variety will include...

1. Email and telephone support to clients.
2. Reviewing websites completed by an experienced designer to ensure all client expectations are met.
3. Producing websites adapted from a template.
4. Processing orders .
5. General admin assistance.

It is a role for someone who likes things to be organised and can work efficiently by themselves in a variety of different tasks, not for someone who wants to be a creative web designer. This is not a route to becoming a web designer.

You need your own PC with a broadband connection. We pay for all phone call costs via our VOIP system.

Is available on a self-empolyed or employed basis, initially at a rate of around £12,000 per year. Training will be paid as well.

Interviews can initially be done by email and phone but we will need to see you for an interview in Milton Keynes before proceeding further. Please do not apply if you cannot do that.
