Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of words: 14000
Topic: Rugby
Tone: Humorous
Extra notes: I am useless at formatting!
I need a template creating that will allow me to write in Microsoft Word a uk stage play in the future.
http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/stage.pdf is how I need it.
I then need a near 14000 word play I have cobbled together putting into that format and spell checking (uk) . Please note the play contains bad language !
Below is a sample for you to play with should you need to.
ACT I SCENE 1
A TABLE IS SET CENTRE STAGE. ALL FIVE ACTORS ARE AROUND IT. JOHNO IS AT THE HEAD OF THE TABLE FOR THE COMMITTEE MEETING. EVERYONE HAS A PINT AND PENS AND PAPERS.
JOHNO
Well, that’s the disciplinary side of the meeting sorted out, but I am still surprised Turk, that you got sent off for that, but, a three match ban it is I`m afraid.
POLISH PETE
(raising voice)Surprised? Surprised? But Johno it was disgusting what Turk did to him, no? Disgusting.
JOHNO
Polish Pete, you’ve only lived here a few years and you will never understand the history of Rugby Union and the traditions that go with it. This is social rugby and at Old Fatonians rugby union football club, it’s not quite the same as what you see on television.
POLISH PETE
I no have to live here at all to know that what he did was disgusting.
TURK
Er, as the accused here Pete, if I may interject, you play hard, the final whistle goes, you shake hands, and everyone forgets it all when yer in the bar after.
POLISH PETE
Turk that is nonsense. How could anybody forget that? Zig Zag surely you agree with me.
ZIG ZAG
Well it’s a difficult one Pete, the game is filled with dark arts, particularly in the pack. Gouging, biting, scratching, it’s all part of gaining a psychological advantage as well as a physical one.
POLISH PETE
Ach, I give in, I understand, all for one, one for all but this? What about you Gippy, you are a young man, an intelligent man, what do you think?
GIPPY
Erm, I must admit that I agree to the principle of collaboration, unity and camaraderie…
POLISH PETE
…and?
GIPPY
I see no harm in the long term with Turk`s actions although I am glad I was not the other chap.
