Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have a bound collection of poems. They were typewritten years ago, and now I want them converted to Word.
The collection is 264 typewritten pages, with approximately 200 words per page (obviously it varies), for an estimated total of 52,800 words.
The job is to type the entire collection into Word (including some scribbled corrections), very accurately and neatly, preserving the format of the poems (stanzas, etc), and returning the original bound copy along with the completed Word document.
This is a job for a highly literate person who can understand poetic English, to avoid mis-transcriptions. A fast typist and conscientious worker is also required.
NOTE
Clarification based on questions from bidders.. Apologies for not clarifying as this is my first job posted:
1) I will mail the original bound manuscript to you by registered mail if you are selected.
2) I will require the job completed a maximum of 5 days after you receive the manuscript. Bidders with shorter turnaround times will be preferred.
3) I will require the finished job in both soft copy (in Microsoft Word) and hard copy. The hard copy should be mailed back to me by registered mail along with the original manuscript. The soft copy should be e-mailed. Please include the cost of printing and postage in your bid if you haven;t already done so.
4) I'm not too particular about fonts, binding etc as long as the finished work is neatly and properly presented in line with the original manuscript.
5) I prefer bidders in London, although this is not a strict requirement, and bidders outside London will be considered based on qiality and cost. Please indicate your location if possible.
