The role would involve contacting and securing potential speakers or trainers for the event. A conference usually has about 20 industry speakers and a training would typically have one or two trainers. The producer is responsible for formulating the agenda and replacing any speaker that withdraws.
Commission would also be paid to.the producer per delegate acquired in addition to the fixed fee.
The topic of the event is suggested by the cpany but the producer is welcome to.suggest a topic they have previously worked on and believe Is commercially viable

Where is this conference going to take place and when? What aspect of these industries are represented in this conference: R&D, finance, management, policy, what?

Hey Tia - I am Manish and have worked for a global B2B conference & training producers. I have exactly what you are looking for, may be something commercially viable off the shelf as well but I do have a few questions for you and the best way to explore that would be to quickly connect over a short intro call. Is that a possibility with you?
Please let me know.
Cheers,
Manish Kumar -
I may have an interest in developing training around the topic of Innovation. I'm an experienced trainer, and used to International audiences.
Tia O.25 Jan 2017Cross industry or for a specific industry ... Innovation in what exactly?
Francis E.25 Jan 2017How to innovate. Who is innovating. What particularly they are innovating in/at. How to create a culture and teams that Innovate.
You could run a course on Marketing but that isn't an industry specific topic. However as always you would tailor content to the participants and their needs. Industry specific examples could be provided but often better ideas and innovation are coming from elsewhere.
