Experience Level: Intermediate
You'll find us on the Holmethorpe Estate, Redhill, Surrey, a small office that's on the lookout for a great telephone person to join our ONSITE team. We're a team of 8 that undertake 'sales and marketing' campaigns for clients... predominantly telephone based, but also incorporating mailings, social media and such to assure that we achieve good results and provide a more valuable service.
The role that we're particularly looking to fill can be part-time or full-time depending on the applicants ability to master new systems. Full training will be provided.
Telemarketing - courier portal
- You will make telephone sales calls, log notes in a crm, send emails and record next actions
- You'll be introducing a 'courier' comparison site and booking demonstrations thereof.
- Once you're accomplished in 'introducing' the system then:
Once you have mastered introductions then you will learn how to demonstrate the online portal for yourself which naturally lead onto:
- setting the customer up with their own portal
- you'll make a follow-up call to see if they need a hand OR to thank for their first booking
- which entails assisting with any training queries that they may have
So now you are adept at introducing, demonstrating, setting-up and assisting with any system training needs. If you are full-time then it's likely that you'll accomplish this stage within the first 2 months of working with us.
From there the role will start to progress into helping the customer out in times of need i.e
- shipments that haven't been picked up
- misplaced or broken
- import/export items that have been delayed
and much much more... the world of couriers is a diverse and on occasions 'testing' world.
We would love you to be:
computer literate, someone that can easily work across multiple systems and processes organised - simply because there's quite often several things on the go at once self motivated as its your 'drive' that help will you to keep pace with what's required a good communicator, as the role will eventually entail being the main cog in a large wheel.
There WILL be days when you simply cant help a customer or feel undervalued simply because there's a lot going on HOWEVER if you're an upbeat, positive person with a CAN-DO attitude then you'll understand that it's not personal... and that a SMILE goes a long way.
