Experience Level: Entry
To persuade potential customers to transfer their current SSAS service, over to our company. To ensure existing customers use all of our products and services. To work from a database (this will be provided) and to keep this database updated after every call is made.
Stage 1 : Call potential customers, explain the main benefits of our \"Ship Security Alert System\" service (SSAS), persuade them to transfer their vessels to our Alert Advanced SSAS service. Call potential customers, explain the main benefits of our vessel tracking service, persuade them to start a free trial with some of their vessels. Upon completion of trial, persuade them to continue with the vessel tracking service.
Stage 2 : Call existing customers to check that they are using our products in full (for example, that all their vessels are subscribed to the SSAS - ship security alert system). Liaise with existing customers to highlight how we can help them with security and piracy threats against their vessels. Check that they are aware of our list of spare parts for SSAS, and that they can order spare parts directly (for example, the SSAS units normally require a new battery every two years, and we keep stock of these).
Stage 3: market our lubricants product portfolio to the “technical superintendent” of existing and potential customers. Some preparatory work can be done during stages 1 and 2, by checking for example, who supply their lubricants, what quantities they take, at which main ports etc.
Person should be able to work from their own location (home), they must have fast internet access and thus able to use Skype and MS Office. Training and support will be provided.
Duration: initially for maximum 4 weeks and if positive results generated, then will continue
Starting/finishing time: flexible (but within European standard business hours)
Person requirements Quick learner, Good communicator, Lots of initiative, Decision maker, Computer literate, Able to follow up to ensure the sale is complete.
Permanent/Temporary position : Temporary
Additional timing information: 4 hours per day, timings to be agreed for each week in advance (start to finish time to be agreed, but will remain flexible)
