Experience Level: Entry
We recently launched a daily reminiscence newspaper for those with dementia. We sell subscriptions to care homes via a free 21 day trial. We do not adopt any hard selling tactics whatsoever.

We are looking for a warm empathic person for a mixture of telephone based projects including follow up calls and mining for referrals within the chains of care homes we supply.

You should be:

Someone who can relate to the care sector (experience would be a bonus)
Creative (as our systems are still young and need refining)
Organised, self motivated, friendly and warm

The role:

We need help in the following areas;

1) contacting our current subscribers that are part of a group of care home and identifying their corporate siblings and/or the decision maker to offer further free trials of our newspaper

You will guide these companies who show an interest through to a sale over the phone and walk them through the next steps. You will keep a record of the companies you have called, the results of your calls and most importantly which ones need action . You will email us updates at the end of each day.

You will contact our existing database of named prospects. You will request to send an email, then call another day to book a product webinar


2) help us design and test the optimal approaches

3) follow up on existing subscribers


The package:

£8 -£10 an hour with additional commission on all sales achieved
We will start with 2 people and work for two days as a trial, dates to be agreed.
If you're successful we need 2 to 4 days per week ongoing.
Possibility of much more work in future
We would like to create a long-term relationship as we are looking to outsource our telesales on a permanent basis
We want the telesales person to be successful in the role so they can choose whether they do half days or whole days. The standards we expect from the telesales person are high but not unrealistic.
