Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Num. of articles: 4
Words per article: 500-4000
Blog/website url: www.kodime.com
Information for the blog/website: We enable Digital Transformation
Industry: Technology
Topic: CRM and CMS Solution
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: We need an expert writer who can provide marketing copy for our website and blog. We have identified a bottleneck at our end in that we don’t have the capacity and are too close to our own product and services to write effectively for marketing.
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: Our audience is senior marketing and digital managers in small to medium sized organisations. We are a B2B solution and service provider.
The topics are technical / digital, and cover both our own client campaigns (“We recently ran a campaign for brand x and the outcome was interesting because of …” as well as about platform features (we have our own marketing automation platform which we continually improve with new features).
The stories will be supported by images such as campaign screenshots. We will handle those, however if the chosen expert can pro-actively snap these alongside the story work, that could be useful.
The way the updates / blogs will be written will be continuous (i.e. week by week), and with original input provided by our team, typically over the phone.
The chosen writer will call a member of our team (depending on subject this will vary), and in a phone conversation we will provide the core info for the story, which can be followed up by details in writing such as stats, links to sites etc. We then review and sign off each story and release on our site.
On occasion we may want to involve a client user as part of a story, so a phone call would be made to that client to get their input.
What we DON’T want is to have to EXPLAIN every detail and terminology - the writer must be pro-active and have a proven understanding in digital marketing and ideally CRM - if you don’t know what KPIs, a Captcha or Autoresponders are, please don’t apply.
There is some expected SEO benefit to this project, BUT we don’t want “SEO Keyword” heavy writing, or someone who just wants to cram these in - we are after well written copy that explains what we do do and how.
We would aim for 2 “stories” per week, one short update (500-2000 characters) and one more blog type (2,000-4,000 characters).
The initial job is for a trial period, to get an idea of tonality / skill, once confirmed, this will be an ongoing project with a longer commitment from our side. The budget provided is indicative for the initial project.
NOTE: you MUST be UK based. We will not consider experts from other countries as we need to get the tonality right for our market and will expect reference to UK events and trends.
