I represent a mature UK based Internet Security Business, with large existing channel partner base who supply their customers with our service.
The partners provide our services to a vast range of businesses including: local government agencies, Regional NHS groups, large multi national corporate institutions & SME businesses for an annual subscription fee. Our services include Anti-Spam, Anti-Virus; Email redundancy services, Internet filtering, Email Archiving and remote backup solutions. All of which can be resold by our partners under their own brand.
The Company has an additional requirement for a number of regional account managers (with Technical sales experience) to join our existing teams in UK and Ireland.
This role is commissioned based and each account manager will be assigned up-to 100 existing revenue generating partners to manage.
The position is suitable for home office workers & will require regular proactive email and telephone communications (recorded in our CRM System), Online meeting presentation (full training given), preparations of quotes and processing of orders.
We are not a Hard Sell company; instead we opt for the more consultative approach and try to work with our partners to deliver value. You will be supported by a member of our client services technical team who can supply technical sales information and operate WebEx sales on behalf of the partner to any prospect they are working with or indeed direct to the partner to improve their own understanding or to explain new features.
This is not a fixed term project, the right candidates are likely to remain engaged for at least one year and if they enjoy the role and we feel they are correct for the company then we can discuss terms for a longer term contract.
Account managers earn £3,000+ per month (based on 8% -10% of orders generated) but once you have built a good relationship with each account, it is reasonable to expect much more than this.
You can do this work on-line, in person, by telephone (VOIP) or by email. The contact must be pro active, regular and pleasant. Good relationships result in much higher yield for you and the business.
We have an intranet site with access to promotional material and we will supply full training on the services including competitive analysis and feature benefits information.
Terms and Conditions:
The role is self-employed and paid in UK Pounds (£) all information gained is confidential and must be recorded on our CRM system. No order is placed until you have received email confirmation from the partner agreeing the number of users, start date of service and wholesale price.
