Experience Level: Expert
I have some binary code and a ASCII test program from a STS8256 Credence tester. This tester is used to provide stimulus to an ASIC and observe the response. (Much like a logic analyzer)
I need the binary "ed" files converted to ASCII. In this case the input only pins are probably taking 4 bits of the binary space, the output are probably also 4 bits and the bidirectional pins are probably 8 bits. The pin order and direction are given in the ASCII file. There are 1 or 2 RZ pins or clock pins. These pins will be constant in the pattern file and will be a translation success indicator.
The one large file may store the pins information differently.(not attached) If you happen to have access to a STS8256 or a simulator and can load the program you could possibly just print out the results. I am trying to get a STS8256 manual but I dont have one at the moment.

Successful bidder will send me one translated "ed" file. I will then pay you for the tool to do the other patterns. The tool must be written with gcc and run on a Unix platform. You can do development on a PC if you want .
Good luck!
