We are looking for an experienced business development freelance to gain sponsors and exhibitors at a conference in March 2011. The event is well established and attracted over £60k in revenue from this channel last year.
This is not a simple telesales role. The event is industry specific and our chosen representative needs to have the negotiating ability and business acumen to provide sponsors with the right packages for their needs whilst maximising revenue.
Data is available from last year, but we are looking for someone with a proactive approach to sourcing additional exhibitors and sponsors.
We would anticipate work to start in September and continue until targets are met, ideally by December 2010.
Payment will be negotiated based on a basic rate, enhanced by a bonus on successful revenue generation.
