Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I'm looking for a web developer to make some changes to my website (www.ofallkind.com) and then explain how to maintain it. The website is built on wordpress with a woothemes template and some code.
With successful completion of job, these following fixes will all be made, and I will have instructions via emails or phone call.
1) There is a grey line across the very top of the page that does not reach all the way across. We would like it to span the entire top instead of stopping short. It should also be thicker -- about the width of one of the characters in the word "FELLOWSHIP" below it.
2) We have a logo we would like placed on the bottom right, in the blank space underneath our facebook and twitter links. We'd like it centered vertically within that space.
3) We would like the three posts beside the image (currently "Reciprocal Ecology", "Etiquette among living beings" and "mapping your biodia") to have smaller text for the titles - and we would like the titles to link to the post as well. Right now, you have to click on the text description to access the post. (On this item, we would like information on how to do this ourselves in the future.)
4) After clicking on "Reciprocal Ecology," (top link on the page), the browser goes to the Reciprocal Ecology post. On this page, we would like the title of the article to appear underneath the picture, centered, instead of at the top left. We'd also like a bigger size font. (On this item, we would like information on how to do/adjust this feature for ourselves in the future.)
5) On the links mid-page: "Celestial Bodies," "Water Nymphs, Water Ways," and "Naming the Plants and Animals," there is a subtle square outline around the circle images. We would like this not to appear. Additionally, this should not appear around the image on the pages the images link to. (On this item, we would like information on how to do this ourselves in the future.)
6) On the seven pages that are linked to the seven top circles, ( aka the "category" pages) we would like the following:
- Dotted Lines in between each post, of the same kind already existing on the page.
- We would like the "Read More" buttons to be smaller and justified left beneath the text.
- We would like "Share this" buttons (facebook, twitter, email to a friend) beneath each article to work as it does on this page: http://www.childrenandnature.org/news/detail/a_cure_for_the_allergy_epidemic/
ADDITIONAL ITEMS WE WOULD LIKE INSTRUCTIONS ON:
- How to alter the text on the seven pages linked to the seven top circles (aka the "category" pages) - for instance, changing the word "archives" to "articles" or something else
Please take a look, and suggest possible fixes and price.
