Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
We've recently launched a website for finding the best places to eat in the UK. More than 39,000 listed restaurants, pubs, bars, cafes & takeaways with all sorts of info including photos, descriptions, average prices, menus, offers etc and also offering free online booking at 2,000 UK restaurants. We're also soon to launch an iPhone app too offering most things that the site does.

From a recent project listing, we're now working with someone who is writing our PR (Press Releases), some SEO articles and determining online/offline marketing strategies to drive traffic to our site. However, we are considering taking on others to help get the site indexed and known faster and a second opinion is never a bad thing either.

We've submitted sitemaps to our Google Webmaster account on Oct 6th which have 63,284 urls in but only 266 are indexed.

We've submitted the site to several (around 15) high PR/alexa sites but it's debatable as to whether these have positive or negative effect when trying to get a new site indexed so we've not done too many.

We also setup around 30 keywords on a Google PPC campaign which all went from 0.08 to around 0.50/click within 4 days which in our opinion is too much.

We're looking for someone to develop online marketing strategies, write SEO articles focused on targeted keywords, build links and get the site indexed faster.

We're not just looking for hits, we've looking for conversions to users of the site, not just numbers on the homepage.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous proven SEO experience.
- Provide examples of previous achievements including urls.
- Take an in-depth look into our site and include how & what you are proposing to do when bidding.
- Provide a measurable target / timescale.
- Have an interest in eating out.

Failure to read this project correctly and/or not provide requested information will result in your bid being ignored.
