Sales Superstar

A Sales Executive is needed for a start-up magazine (online and hardcopy) publishing company, on a commission-only basis. Our launch date is August 2010.

We are looking for an experienced individual to sell advertising space and sponsorship packages. The role holder will also develop and implement marketing strategies for the upcoming magazine launch and thereafter. Our target reader profile is: women of colour (career women and stay-at-home mothers), 25-45 age bracket.

We are also looking to find outlets for the magazine in the near future. The role holder must be a confident self-starter who takes intiative, can work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment, and must be very comfortable with making cold calls. This job will require 15 working hours per week, however, any additional hours needed will be permitted with authorisation required.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Native-level English speaker

Cold-calling/Telemarketing experience (At least 2 years)

Microsoft Office packages

Techonology savvy

Resilient and tenacious

Results-focused
