Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
We require a technical support consultant who can specialise in all Sage products including ACT, Sage 50 Accounts and Sage 50 Payroll.
You would be required to answer customer queries on an ad hoc basis initially but potentially moving to a full time position in the future. The queries will mainly be technical so the ability to interact with customers with brilliant customer service skills is a must. Basic knowledge of the sage products and good questioning skills would be an advantage as you may need to take further details before contacting sage to clarify any points.
A mobile phone could be provided or could be routed to your current mobile telephone if preferred. copies of the software will also be provided for you to test customer issues. We would request that you have your own laptop and internet connection with a remote access tool however contributions could be made towards these potentially.
The hours of availability would need to be between 8:30am and 5pm mon-friday and if the call could not be answered immediately the call must be returned within 1 hour of the customers voicemail. All of the work would be home based but an initial skills assessment will need to take place first.
You may occasionally receive queries via email and you would need to deal with these in the relevant way by potentially contacting the customer back.
Initially we would like a price per 30 minute block of time used and then potentially half days.
