Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We\'re currently building a website where we only want registered users to be able to access a specific folder.
The process will be as follows:
1. Visitor registers on website
2. Notification email sent to site administrator
3. Site administrator reviews the registration and ether approves it or rejects it
4. Notification email is sent to registering user
5. User can then log in
Preferably using the ASP.NET user profile model, we require:
1. A working registration page, containing the following fields:
• First name
• Surname
• Business name
• Postcode
• Email
• Telephone
• Password
The fields are all required and the email address should be used as the user name
2. A login page containing the following two fields:
• email
• Password
3. A user administration page allowing the approval or rejection of users.
Please note
• The administration email should be stored in the application settings
• Emails will be sent through the internal SMTP service (no auth, no SSL)
• The email template should be stored in such a way that it can be edited (web.config, text file, DB, etc..)
Please supply
• Source files
• Detached copy of MS SQL (2000|2005|2008) DB with login credentials
We only require the controls on a blank page - no design, layout or CSS.
We\'re looking for someone who understands the ASP.NET 2/3.5 user profile model and how to adapt it. Please provide an estimate of the time you expect this job to take.
