Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the business: I.T. Company Website
Description of requirements/functionality: We had the need to change the hosting of our company website to move it away from an existing Netsuite ERP host to a new GoDaddy Deluxe Linux hosting service. The site is bespoke-built in HTML/CSS/JS.
The migration of the Website Hosting File folders was performed by GoDaddy and 80% of the website homepage has transferred across fine including the image carousel, but the header (crucially incorporating the site's navigation menu) and the footer (including our company details and copyright etc) have not migrated/integrated properly.
The original site hosted via Netsuite displays fine, as it always has.
The migrated site hosted via GoDaddy shows lines of code in place of the site header/footer - see screengrab attached.
The code for the working header on the original (Netsuite-hosted) site has much more information than that for the missing header on the migrated (Go-Daddy hosted) site - similarly see attached.
All the source files have been successfully duplicated across from the original to the new host (can be viewed in the GoDaddy cPanel) but clearly something is broken or unlinked in terms of the HTML/CSS/JS/PHP.
The job is to fix the code so that the website displays correctly on the new hosting platform. If this can be done remotely via login access provided to the necessary systems then fine. Otherwise freelancer will need to come on-site (London EC2A) and perform the fix during normal office hours.
The duplicated website can remain active on two live URLs until the issue can be fixed.
Specific technologies required: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP etc.
OS requirements: Linux
