Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
We need to recruit around 20 people in the next couple of months for a new contract. In our company we have someone that does telephone interviews and manages start dates etc. However, we don’t seem able to recruit and retain people fast enough. It’s clear our system is broken; we need help fixing it and putting a better system in place. Specifically:
- Review the process from start to finish and look for any ‘quick fixes’
- Review our recruitment adverts and where we advertise
- Provide ‘Hands On’ support. Help with the actual telephone interviews etc. This may also help you to see first hand where we’re going wrong.
- Follow up when new people join our team. We have high attrition rates. We need to understand why that is and work out policies to reverse that.
- Provide a system of monitoring and measuring metrics. We need to know the numbers behind the process.
We expect this project to last for 6 – 8 weeks and it has to be a success – we can’t afford not to recruit and retain our target number of people. You will be reporting directly to the Group CEO. And if this project is successful, we have more of this kind of thing coming up at another group company.
As part of the project, there may be the requirement to spend some time at our depot in East London to review the induction processes. To this end, we can only accept freelancers based in the UK.
When responding, please define if you are proposing this to be hourly or fixed price. We are open to various options.
