Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Num. of words: 5000
Industry: Technology
Topic: Mobile Parking Payments
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: My technology company has developed the most advanced mobile parking payments solution in the world. We have an outdated website that doesn't really do justice to the product. We will be re-designing the website, and we're starting with the copy. (N.B. This is NOT a webdesign job!)
You will be provided with recent materials (brochures, presentations) about our product. I need you to suggest a new website structure that will really communicate all the benefits to potential clients and partners. I also need you to write several (6 - 8) short articles (in addition to the copy for the general website pages), each explaining clearly how our solution solves a certain problem related to on-street parking that no other solution on the market solves (each article should address a different problem - you will get ideas about these from the provided materials).
The audience is truly global, and your produced content will subsequently be translated into many languages, so try to use short sentences with simple structure. The style must be formal and professional, but not shy in emphasizing the brilliance of the product. The audience is local government officials and parking managers, as well as potential partners / resellers.
Before writing, you will be expected to do all necessary research, get thoroughly familiar with the product and the provided materials and nit-pick my brain so that you really get the facts straight, which will give you the edge in your writing. I will expect you to spend a full one week in research and communication with me before you even write a single word.
In your bid, please provide sample of copy you've written IN A SIMILAR STYLE and demonstrate to me (don't just say it) that you have read and understood the requirements. Generic bids will be instantly dismissed.
Experience in writing B2B sales copy (especially for government clients) will be a big advantage.
Extensive research needed: yes
