Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the business: Looking to outsource some projects
Description of requirements/functionality: The Raspberry Pi has an onboard SPI chip. Here are the docs for it.
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/spi/README.md
I have a client that wants to have two Raspberry Pi computers talking via this SPI interface. This is a test program to see if this works well for further development. Basically, it looks like three or four wires can connect the Pi units together. Then communication can be established.
For this project, I have the two Pi units, I just need the software so I can show the client what it possible.
We need bidirectional communication at 10Mbps (which would be 10Mhz on the SPI chip).
So want I want is a program that sends a file over the wires connected to the Pi that relate to the SPI chip. The program would have two parts, a sender and a receiver. The same software could be installed on both Pi units. Each could send a file at the same time to the other unit.
I would prefer this to be written in Xojo as that I want I develop in most of the time. If the program was developed in Python, I'd need enough documentation to be able to translate it.
The budget I suggested is just a place holder for now.
I will need FULL source code before making any payments. However, if this proof of concept works, there may be more work as I have too many programming projects right now.
I'll answer any question you may have.
Thanks Eric
