Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have developed PHP code for use with Nominet\'s DAC and EPP systems (see http://www.nic.uk/other/dac/realtimedac/ and http://www.nic.uk/registrars/systems/EPP/).
This software runs on a Linux CentOS server and queries the DAC for UK domain availability. The moment that it notes a domain as available then an EPP registration request is sent. Time is of the essence and a m/s or two can be the difference between a domain being registered or not as there is a lot of competition.
I would like someone to review my code and to develop it so that it is even faster than it currently is. I am already moderately successful at winning domains but often lose out to other developers (the same people often get the best domain names).
My code is currently in PHP (run usually via the command line or called through CRON). I have written classes for the DAC and EPP with the main script that is little more than a loop that makes use of functions within the classes. I am not the greatest programmer in the world but the code is fairly readable and already quite refined.
