Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: Wedding band website http://www.bobbakerband.com
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Pick a date page.
Pay a deposit page.
Description of requirements/features: This is an urgent job.
In brief...
We require pay deposit functionality (through PayPal) to be added to an existing Drupal 7 website. The user selects a date from a calendar to pay the deposit on. If the date is not taken, the user pays the deposit and secures that date. The date then becomes unavailable for anyone else to pay a deposit on.
Finer details...
1. A user wants to secure the wedding band for a specific date by paying a deposit.
2. The user goes onto a page on bobbakerband.com and selects the date they want from a popup calendar (see calendarexample.jpg for example). The user then clicks to check availability on that date.
3. If the date is already taken, the user is told this date is not free. The user is then prompted to pick another date.
4. If the date is free, the user clicks a "Pay deposit" button.
5. The user then provides their (1) Name, (2) Email address and (3) Full address of event venue.
6. A checkout page then confirms (1) Name, (2) Email address, (3) Full address of event venue, (4) Deposit amount [this is a fixed amount] and (5) Date they picked on the calendar.
7. The user continues to pay the deposit through PayPal only, then lands on a "Thank you" page upon successful payment or a "We're sorry" page upon failed payment.
8. If successful, the user receives an email confirming the details in point 6. A similar email is also sent to site admin.
9. The date question can non longer be chosen to pay a deposit on.
*All dates in the calendar are available by default, admin users need the ability to remove dates to make them unavailable*.
*Orders to also be stored under Admin on the Drupal site*.
Specific technologies required: Calendar reservation, Pay through PayPal
