Part-time Bookeeper and General administrator required for immediate start

Retail business requires an experienced book keeper and administrator to complete the following minimum tasks:


Enter invoices, till receipts, expenses, and bank transactions onto Quickbooks accounting system

Make supplier payments, resolve queries, and reconcile supplier accounts

Filing + correspondance & resolving admin queries

Entering and processing payroll on IRIS PAYE software on a weekly basis

Ad-hoc administrative and paperwork

Clear 2010 backlog of accounting entries

Any other accounting/admin tasks as necessary

Requirements:

Able to begin work immediately

Regular weekly attendance required on a weekday

Initial clearance of 2010 backlog may require some extra time

Work is in shop office which is based in London
Desk, computer, stationary etc. provided

Previous experience with Quickbooks software and admin/book keeping experience is an advantage

This is a long term position for someone settled in their career

Hard, honest worker with ability to learn quickly, take responsibility and work unsupervised if necessary

Recent references should be available

Permission to work in the UK


Pay:


Work is on a self-employed basis

Dependant on experience and ability, minimum of £1500p.a.
