Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Based on the following ideas and using open source or free-of-charge software (i.e Drupal, Joomla, YouTube), i am looking for someone to develop a content managed website with the following functionalities:
- make membership online, by creating a password protected account, choosing which type of membership one would like, and paying for it. Admin has to approve members.
- a forum space for members only which allows for video and audio uploads
- an events page that splits into two; one section for professional events and the other for social events. Only admin and members can add entries to this page. A feed containing details of forthcoming events, i.e events in the next two weeks, should be added to the home page. All events are viewable to public.
- A multimedia page where admin can upload videos and audio
- A shopping cart so that people can buy books (we have a small collection of four books)
- A page that has small windows which replicate data from another websites in our website, so that users can have a preview of the other website without having to visit it.
- An integrated email newsletter facility which grabs email addresses from the member database to create mailing lists (we should be able to generate different types of mailing lists based on the category of members i.e concessionary member, full member)
- An online contact page
- There will be around two dozen static pages containing text and images (we will provide content.) Any page containing such data should have a small icon in the top right corner allowing the user to print it or save it as a pdf.
- Conference/workshop registration page. Only members can register for conferences
- Ability to print off banded receipts for membership and conference payments
- Ability to print off name badges for conference attendees.
- All payments taken via paypal
I think the outline above gives a fair idea of what we're looking for, please provide a detailed quote in response to this which includes an hourly charge and total time needed to set the website up.
