Industry: Education
Topic: Careers and job search topics
Tone: Instructional/Educational
Outline & Structure: Freelance journalist, copywriter needed
Abintegro provides online resources to help people improve themselves at work in terms of their career prospects and also get into work/secure a new job if in transition.
Each week we publish new content into our online Career Centre and we are looking for a Content Writer/Researcher to commit to producing weekly articles for our Newsroom & Career Week newsletter.
Career week articles are light, informative, occasionally funny pieces about managing your career or getting into work. They are sometimes based on a recent study or medical/psychological research and offer practical, up to date step-by step career advice or behavioural workplace advice.
We write three pieces weekly: typically two will offer in-work advice and one will be about getting a job.
For each article we would like one long copy version of 600-1000 words on the subject to be used as the basis for other elearning resources and one shorter version of 250-450 words to be included in the Newsroom/Career Week Newsletter.
We will set the topics on a weekly basis and require a Content Writer/Researcher to research reputable sources to learn about the topics and then write the articles in their own words, drawing out any relevant key messages. The articles need to be written from scratch but can include ideas, findings or themes found from research sources.
Recent examples of career week articles are attached.
Extensive research needed: no
