Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello,
James here, (middle aged entrepreneur working out of a building in East London.)
I run 2 companies and and hold a third contract as a building manager to a creative building in Hackney.
I have a need for an assistant to help me run this building, as well as the admin side of my buisness.
This could be a big, long term opportunity for the right person / person(s). I am possible open to hiring more than one person.
This year I want to remove myself from e-mail, So I will need someone to handle all of my quoting, invoicing, minimal book keeping as well as a few spreadsheets and administrative processes. Sometimes with a few phone calls here and there.
In regards to the building management, we have 20 ish friendly leased self contained units, a nightclub, and a restaurant functioning out of one big building. I answer to two directors, and fulfil very basic day to day requests along with a 24 team. Part of the job will be based as part of the 24 hour team, from the front desk.
I must be very clear, with no confusion that I am looking for a freelancer (self-employed) to take on a contract with me at a negotiable rate. This is not an employed position. This would very much suit someone looking for some steady hours alongside their own PA or freelance work. This could very well evolve in hours offered. Initially I'd look to offer between 20-24 hours per week, Mon - Fri (weekends optional).
Offering up to £14.00 per hour. Can organise a walk around early this coming week.
Second sub-postion.
If anyone is interested in becoming a personal assistant or building manager alongside an active PA/Building manager and buisness person. I can offer a lot of hands on experience, a friendly place to undoubtably learn the craft, and a brilliant reference at the end should things go well. This would be an ongoing role for a year and only part supervised. So the ability to work alone is essential. (weekend work included as part of rota).
