Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
News articles, Blog posts, Content writer - There is a good opportunity for further / ongoing work for the right person or organisation.

I run an established IT services company covering the Thames Valley and West London. I am in the process of adding web services as an in-house offering to existing and new clients.

As something of a nerd at heart, I am happy to deal with the backend and hosting etc. However, I require a resource (Individual or company) to assist with two aspects of the written content of client sites:

1> One of the aims of the offering is to improve site listings etc thus I want to specifically offer a News/blog post/article writing service. You will need to conduct brief research on the client's market area/industry/location etc on a regular basis and create news/blog or article posts based on the research results. These may be opinion, comment, straight forward news etc as you see fit. The resulting posts will then be drip fed over a period of time onto the clients website using the content management system backend. In some instances the client may also assist either by posting their own content or by providing you with material. In other cases, you would be the primary resource working on this.

2> Straight forward written content. You will need to create written content that is SEO keyword high and reads naturally etc. It should also be original content and avoid fluff and fill etc. In some cases the new site will be a ground up build, in others it will be a rewrite of an existing site.

As there are 2 distinct pieces of work, your responses should clearly show how you propose to charge for each. Please only respond if you are able to assist with BOTH requirements.

Your written English must be excellent and writing style, grammar, spelling and punctuation appropriate to the UK market. eg: colour, not color, last autumn, not last fall etc.

The first client:

My hosting site. As a new offering to clients, I am in need of my own site. It makes sense therefore to see how well we can work together and to work out the best ways of developing a working relationship by working on my own site (quite apart from being able to tell clients that the site is a result of the new offering!).

I look forward to your responses.
