Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
I am looking for an experienced .NET/MS CRM/web services programmer to assist me with a number projects over time.
Your role will be to assist me with the technically challenging aspects of projects and initial setup of novel coding tasks, allowing me to focus on delivering customer solutions.
You need clear English and good communication skills, as well as coding experience.
The first job is to create a C# console program that connects via JSON REST web services to Expensify.
Your job is to create a first working version, from which I can then easily modify Expensify API calls.
You will need to set up a free test Expensify account.
I will then need to connect to an organisation Expensify account to test the code.
The job is complete once I have managed to run the code against the organisation and may require support from you.
I'm looking for a longer-term working relationship.
See https://integrations.expensify.com/Integration-Server/doc/getting_started.html
This is my first attempt:
namespace ConsoleExpensifyAPI
{
public static class ExpensifyAPIClient
{
public static void PostToExpensify()
{
var url = "https://integrations.expensify.com/Integration-Server/ExpensifyIntegrations";
// Synchronous Consumption
//var syncClient = new WebClient();
//var content = syncClient.DownloadString(url);
//Console.WriteLine(content.ToString);
string result = "";
string json = @"requestJobDescription={""type"":""get"",""credentials"":{""partnerUserID"":""xxx_replace"",""partnerUserSecret"":""xxx_replace""},""inputSettings"":{""type"":""policyList"",""adminOnly"":true,""userEmail"":""xxx@xx.replace""}}";
using (var client = new WebClient())
{
client.Headers[HttpRequestHeader.ContentType] = "application/json";
client.Headers.Add("Expect:");
result = client.UploadString(url, "POST", json);
}
Console.WriteLine(result);
Console.WriteLine("Press enter to close...");
Console.ReadLine();
}
}
}
Returns error 417 Expectation failed
