Description
I’ve attached two files – a Word and Excel – to further illustrate.
The goals are the following:
• To come up with a ‘master’ Excel and accompanying Word template, with the Excel populating text, table, and other “objects” into the Word template.
• This master template set must be flexible enough to add/delete/change/modify the values being imported into Word from Excel, at will and without sized, data, or linkage limitations.
• The importing/linking will only ever be one way – all values/objects will always be coming from Excel and going to Word; think of the Word document template as nothing more than a ‘container’ to hold the Excel data objects.
• The code must be written in such a way that if the Excel and Word files are moved and/or copied to other file locations, then ‘re-linking’ the source Excel file to the target Word file won’t have to be done every time, or with every file move.
• There is no limit to the amount of Excel data that can be linked to the Word document.
• Although it is possible, I do not wish to have any math functions performed in Word; only in Excel, and then linked over to the Word container document.
I am trusting that you have done this kind of work before. Perhaps you can just write the code that would allow for what’s described above, as on certain document templates there might be 20 or 50 links, and other could conceivably contains hundreds or more. And then you can just explain the process to me. If I give you massive links to perform, it will get cost-infeasible for me very quickly.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. If it helps, I can walk you through the attached Excel and Word to give you an example of what/how I’d like to link.
And, if you cannot help me, would you mid referring me to someone that can?
Thanks very much!
Extra notes: Hi; I found you through a Google search for Excel and Word programming. I need customized programming services; I am trying to link Excel ‘objects’ (can be a table, chart, graph, range, array, and/or cell value that can either be text or numbers) into a ‘container’ Word document for my real estate consulting business. I can walk you through this either over the intent (Skype) or over the phone if you have an interest in helping me on this.

Hello Gregory,
Please send me the files in order to make a proposal. Thanks.
Regards,
AntonioGregory J.05 Feb 2017Antonio - I would like to have a call if possible to walk you through my requirements. I had code written for me a few years ago; it is embedded in the attached files. Perhaps it will help you prepare your job scope and fees. Let me know how you would like to institute the call - thanks!
