Description

Experience Level: Expert
I have an existing Wordpress site used primarily for blogging with attached photos.

I would like to add a separate function where any uploaded photo content (ie in the WP gallery) can be sorted by date, month, tag or category and then only the selected images displayed as a full screen slide show.
I envisage a checkbox against each thumbnail image which can either be manually selected/deselected or automatically selected by manipulating criteria as above. The system would need to be flexible enough to use more than one set of criteria or more than one range of criterion. This may already be available as a plugin but I suspect that the successful applicant will need a good working knowledge of javascript and CSS.

The second functionality is the addition of geotagging of photos. Currently images for the posts are uploaded with GPS data in the exif information. I would like to add a little map icon next to any image that has exif GPS data which when clicked would link to Google Maps and show where the photo was taken. Ideally Google maps would pop up as a layer on top of the existing page rather than as a new browser tab/window.

Please e-mail if you need any further clarification.
