Background:
We are a successful training and coaching business that for the last 6 years has worked with a number of selected clients to improve their management and sales processes. We focus heavily on improving a business ability to coach its staff by improving that skill from the top to the bottom of a business.
We have now developed a brand new software tool designed to facilitate and help with that goal of improving coaching within an organisation.
The software has been live for 3 months and we have 3 clients using the tool.
We are engaged with a large sporting organisation to design a coaching improvement tool that is very exciting and could take us in a very new and innovative direction
We have 2 directors and one part time administrator -- we are small but with very big ambitions to grow!
The Challenge:
1. Our pipeline is not big enough and it needs to grow quickly.
2. This is a lot down to MD doing too much consulting and not having/giving the time or the focus to the selling required
3. Strong need to maximise the effectiveness of the selling time
4. Our target audience is director level at an SME business up to 300 people (ideally greater than 25)
5. We do not have a joined up approach to marketing -- in fact we do not have a marketing approach at all which has to change quickly!
6. Need to find the right marketing mix that provides us with a few good quality leads that we can follow up
7. Need to have much better clarity around our messaging because there is a sense that we change our message too frequently and do not know what the best one is!
8. Our website does not reflect our current business and does not generate us any leads at all.
The Partner/Person/Agency
1. Must be strong enough to lead the marketing push and not always defer to directors
2. Must take ownership and drive new marketing initiative and not wait for directors to come up with the ideas
3. Need to focus our brand and manage the campaigns from end to end
4. Need to liaise with Web designers and SEO specialists to make sure that the website is performing its key functions -- deliver clear and clean messages and is a tool to generate interest
5. Needs to become an integral part of the team and be a crucial part of the growth of the business.
6. Happy for candidate to work remotely, but will be aiming to meet a couple of times a month. Therefore looking for reasonably local provider, i.e. not prepared to pay large travel costs.

Looking to create a monthly retained position for the right partner after initial trial period
