Logo Design

I am looking for a logo design for my legal practice. The design must be clean, modern and simple. The best examples of what I am looking for are to be found in the following link: http://wearemortensen.com/blog/archive/simple-but-clever-logotypes/

However, I am not averse to being talked into something completely different and would like to see a few different examples before choosing. Would prefer to try and work with someone rather than go down the 99designs, etc route. I am looking to spend around £100 on this, if that helps. The problem is our name as it is a bit cluncky to design anything around this and I would be happy to go with an acronym (provided the real name to bidders).
