Description
Experience Level: Expert
You bid must include:
* Samples / Examples of previous work, including Tablet / Mobile HTML design
* Timeline with performance pay schedule
* Finalization of Logo with deliverable as EPS vecrtorized logo (existing prototype already exists, simple stylized text)
* Corporate Style Guide needed including standardized color pallet for use with printed and digital materials, our product is planning on featuring a dark metallic green finish.
* Design page layouts for internet radio appliance control applications
* Design must be done in HTML5 w/ jQuery, no Flash
* Two CSS styles Tablet(and browser) and Mobile
* Will be tested on iPad (iOS 5) and Moto Xoom (Android 3.2) tablets, iPhone 4 (iOS 5) and Android 2.0 Phones (Thunderbolt)
* CSS / Designs will be integrated with existing Ruby on Rails 3.2 Application, most pages support AJAX remotes today
* jQuery used for modals and animations (both modal displays and page-to-page browsing)
* HTML Design of 6 main pages
* Tuners
* Station Browsing
* Premium Services
* Presets/Favorites
* Alarms/Events
* System/Setup
* Design Goal:
* The HTML design should be inspired by Apple products. Our product is sleek and sophisticated and considered "high end" consumer electronics, the HTML control application should reflect this same quality. We want a high tech yet elegant and minimalistic design. Our closest competing product is the Grace Digital
* Page Details
* Tuners
* There are 4 or 8 tuners per appliance, the tuners page displays what station is playing (see station model below), and if applicable will show song title, artist, album, and song or album art.
* Each tuner can have a user definable name (e.g.: Living Room, Master Bedroom, etc). This can be edited only on the System Setup page
* Station Browsing
* Global selection of Browse by Genre or Browse by Location
* There are roughly 60 Genres and 180 Locations (Top Level) which does create a space issue for display (note, we re-use the location and genre displays in the filters)
* Post selection of a top level Genre or Location, user is presented with stations
* Stations have the following attributes: Title, Genre(s), Locations(s), Bitrate, Codec, Logo
* Stations have the following actions: Play, Add/Remove Preset
* Design goal: on a tablet/browser, display at least 12 stations, there should be no scrolling, the result set of stations (15,000 of them) is delivered in paginated results via AJAX (see the attached screen shots of existing applications)
* While browsing stations, a user can filter stations. For all browsing, the user can select a bitrate, or min/max combination. If browsing by genre, the user can filter on one or more locations, and if browsing by location, a user can filter by one or more genre's. See attached screen shot of the filter modal.
* Design goal: the filter should happen in a modal that is animated (grows in, fades in, something attractive but animated)
* While browsing stations, the user has two available actions for each station, Play; Add/Remove Preset.
* Design goal: when selecting an action, some animated modal should occur. An example would be the model sliding out of the play button horizontally and the unrolling down.
* When selecting the play action, the user should prompted to select which tuner to play the station on, and the tuners should show what they are currently playing.
* Add / remove a preset should simply have a confirmation of the add/remove
* Premium Services
* Premium services are those such as SirusXM Internet Radio, Pandora, etc. We would like a basic screen layout for a Pandora "like" screen (see Pandora iPad and/or iPhone app). The implementation of these pages is not in the scope of this project until the prototypes and requirements are complete.
* Presets/Favorites
* Design goal: Simlar to station browsing, just without filters, simply list all presets in a paginated fashion (again, remember the pagination and ajax functionality are already complete, we need HTML/CSS design with proper DIVs to populate and handle screen layout, etc).
* Alarms/Events
* Alarms allow the user to set on/off times for certain Tuners, as well as to change stations at specific times on specific tuners. Alarms have two states: active and inactive and should be displayed differently for each state.
* The alarm screen should display all active and inactive alarms, paginated. Each page should have a location to add a new alarm.
* System / Setup
* Within the System/Setup pages, the user controls the following actions:
* Network setup:
* DHCP or Manual IP, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, DNS Server(s)
* WLAN Setup (optional): SSID and WPA (Security Mode and Key)
* Firmware:
* Display Current (Version #, Name, Description)
* Check for Updates / Install new Firmware
* Reload station listings (w/ confirmation modal)
* Factory Reset (w/confirmation modal)
* Personalization
* System Name
* Tuner Naming
* Premium Services Setup
* Pandora User Account / Password
* SiriusXM User Account / Password
