Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Having looked into it more I would like the following to happen when a customer uses this application on my webstire:
Customer chooses a collection town (ie Birmingham) from a drop down list.
They are then given a list of possible destination cities based on their choice (so Birmingham would list London, Bristol, Manchester etc as it's possible destinations).
Having chosen both of these 2 maps will appear (in a seperate window) showing each of the cities chosen next to each other.
Customer then needs to enter the collection postcodes and delivery postcodes under relevant map.
Having done this the application then needs to determine the distance to the closest fixed point (ie our depots) for those cities. Howvever, if distance is in excess of a certain distance (TBC but for instance 30 miles) from a point then customer needs to be informed that we do not cover this area.
Not so concerned about showing the maps (only for aesthetics), more concerned with the distances to my fixed points (I can supply postcodes for these points).
Application then needs to output this information into useable format for calculating price based upon the distance quoted.
i have attached the timetable information showing times and different combinations of cities. 1st time is departure. 2nd is arrival.
I know the work isn't too diffcult for those who know how so not willing to pay the earth but successful bidder would have plenty of further opportunities to work for me on my projects.
Regards
