Description
Database management system (DBMS): Microsoft Access
Description of requirements/functionality: We have a project that requires the following:
Current Functionalities and Situation:
1. It is an MS Access Database initially designed in Access 2002 but then migrated to Access 2010 as the front End and SQL as the backend.
2. Currently the database is working perfecty fine with Sage Line 50 Version 12 in terms of Raising Invoice. Basically, the database can currently raise an invoice on Access Database and it automatically gets sent to Sage Invoice page and then in return Sage instantly sends an Invoice Number to Access Database.
Requirements:
Requirement 1: Desktop Application
1. Our client now wishes to upgrade their Sage Line 50 Version 12 to Sage Line 50 latest versions perhaps version 20 or whichever is the latest version and then either use the current code that we use behind the Invoice Page on Access Database with the New Sage OR if the new code does not work with latest versions of Sage, then we expect the developer to either find a work around this or create new code or find the required code to do the following:
a) Do everything as explained in Point 2 of the Current Functionalities and Situation plus
2. Automate the Sage Invoice Reconcilliation Process with our Access Database. Basically, we want to be able to reconcile i.e. receive payments on our Access Database should on click of a button automatically get posted/sent to Sage Line 50.
Note: This is a multi user environment, so up to 2 or 3 users would be a using the invoice page at one time.
Requirement 2: Online Application:
We are also currently developing an ASP.NET versio of the same Application which is almost finished and as such, we would like all of the above functions, integration and automation between Sage Line 50 to Work seamelessly with our online Application which will of course be hosted and accessed from different places. However, our sage will be hosted locally so whenever an invoice is Raised or Reconciled, it should automatically update our our Sage which will be installed on a local server and will not be available online.
We encourage proposals and quotes ONLY from those developers who has done Sage Integration with other applications.
Specific technologies required: VBA, Access Database, must have experience working with Sage Line 50 Integration
Extra notes: Our current database does have the required code which is working perfectly fine but we are not sure if it will work with new versions of sage.

Hello,
Do you use the Sage SDK to post your MS-Access transactions to Sage?
I have a lot of SDK experience with Access and SQL Server. I have also written code that by passes the SDK, which means you don't have to buy yet another expensive SDK for newer versions of Sage.

London, UKEmi H.04 Feb 2017Hello,
Thank you for your message.
To answer your question and If I am not mistaken, we do use some files in system32 called SDO 120 or 121 or 111 with tlb. extesions. Is this what your talking about?
