Description
Extensive research needed: yes
Extra notes: I'm working on technology book series and I need a ghost-writer for parts of the book.
This book is about computer programming, in general. It will touch on a number of different programming tools.
You will not receive a writing credit and will need to agree to a non-disclosure agreement.
I will give you certain general topics to write about related to programming on these topics.
HTML, PHP, ASP.Net, C, C++, Java, Perl, SAP, Basic, COBOL, Fortran, Pascal, C#, Visual Basic, SQL, GameMaker, Python, Ruby on Rails
Each tool will have a format in which to write about it:
1.) History - (1 to 2 pages)
2.) Primary uses Strengths and Challenges (1-2 pages)
3.) IDE/Compiler information - (1-2 pages)
4.) Sample program (Hello Word), and explanation (1-2 pages)
5.) How to get access it - (1-2 pages)
You don't have to to into a great deal of detail. ...just enough to explain it.
Other general topics that will be covered in the book are:
A.) The history of programming - (...up to 5 pages)
B.) Syntax errors versus logical errors - (...up to 2 pages)
C.) open source versus proprietary - (up to 2 pages)
D.) Fundamentals - (i.e., proper back-ups, up to 5 pages)
This needs to be all original content. It cannot be plagiarized from other sources.
You may cite/reference sources for historical and professional accuracy (use APA, if necessary).
This book is NOT designed to make the reader an expert in computer programming. It's just designed to be a primer that provides a general overview of programming and programming tools and a general history of programming.

Hi Jaime,
Would you be prepared to use different people for different sections, I would be interested to do one or two sections for you but do not have the expertise to cover all the topics.Jaime R.13 Jun 2017I'm not looking for an expert over every portion. The information would need to be researched. I will also be writing and re-writing the information submitted.

Hi
A few questions:
- what sort of word count do you anticipate?
- who is the target reader?
Thanks
SamJaime R.12 Jun 2017I have page guidelines within the instructions.
The book will be written for all readers - novices, hobbyists, and advanced users, as a primer. Not everyone is versed at every single language and the book will be used as a resource for information.
