Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
General information for the business: We are experimenting
Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of every module: The input will be an image like the one attached. Each image will contain a human foot outline with pen or pencil. It will also contain the outline of a standard bank card whose sizes are in accordance with ISO 7810 ID 1 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO/IEC_7810. The output should be the length and the width of the human feet.
Specs:
1. The background could be a plain paper, a ruled paper (like example provided) or any other similar blank paper.
2. The foot could be positioned at any angle on the paper. Assume that the foot is totally inside the paper's boundary.
3. The bank card could be positioned at any angle on the paper. Assume that the card lies totally on the paper and outside of the foot
4. The program to be written in Python or C++
5. The accuracy of the program shall be judged on our test set and gig would be considered completed only if it passes > 98% of our test cases. You would be provided with ~10 sample images for development.
6. The program should take the image path as input and outputs the length and width
If you can do it, please send time, price and process pipeline for the program.
If you have worked on anything similar, please let me know. Please explain the steps the program would perform in order to achieve the results. The more efficient your approach is, the higher chances this gig will go to you (against others who have not been very clear). Please ask me as many questions as you want.
Description of requirements/functionality: Log the outputs in a logfile.
Specific technologies required: Python, C++
OS requirements: Mac OS, Linux
Extra notes:
