Ministry of Thrift is a social enterprise with the aim of helping those on a low income manage their money more effectively. We have recently been asked to create a mobile solution for a youth project targeting young people aged 16-24.
It will be a very basic choose your own adventure type scenario in order to help young people understand money management, priority and non priority debt and the consequences of falling into debt. One story line is about the cost implications of getting a flat and the other about the perils of falling into debt.
Once the app is completed at the end of January we need to run a high impact 3 week marketing campaign that targets young people in a particular borough and encourages them to download and use the app. We are looking for about 300 downloads/sign ups. We intend to have an incentive/prize for the young person who is able to get their friends to download or had the most ‘shares’
We need someone with the skills to create and execute an email campaign targeting agencies who serve young people with follow up calls if required. We need to target the young people online via Facebook and Twitter if appropriate and we may also create supporting leaflets/posters to raise awareness.
Timescales
This a voluntary sector project and so funding approval will be confirmed by Monday 23rd December. If approved the timescale for this is 25th Jan to 18th Feb
