This part-time marketing position plays a vital role in message creation for internal and external audiences with tactical executions including, but not limited to website, social media/blog, google ad words, and specific marketing programs.
The ideal candidate has strong communication skills - both verbal and written - values strong attention to detail and is looking to take initiative for higher productivity and efficiency, as well as a university degree or pursuing a university degree.
Position Summary
Marketing Associate will assist and manage parts of the company’s email and social media campaigns and communicating company brand through search marketing like Google Adwords. This position reports to the Learning and Marketing Manager.
Position Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain social media schedules and Google Adwords
• Create shareable content
• Create and test campaigns, as well as A/B testing on various email campaigns to establish what is most effective. ( Mainly Google Adwords
• Prepare a variety of reports for management as requested
• Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email
• Create and assist in the design of a variety of marketing collateral
• Assist in proofreading and editing
• Assist with other projects or requests as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including solid skill in the Microsoft Office suite, as well as proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation technology.
• Design software skills desired, but not required.
• Solid understanding of google Adwords
• Familiarity with contemporary email and social media design best practices and concepts
• Superior organizational and follow-through skills, performing work accurately with strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize a fast-paced and varied workload, effectively manage a variety of projects and concurrent/shifting priorities.
