We are currently looking for a freelance GIS consultant who is fully up to speed with MapInfo Pro 10.5 and use of DriveTime/ Streetline drive time software and data, post map postal boundaries and postpoint professional as well as knowing about the latest types of base mapping and their applications. We hold all necessary software and licenses. The ideal freelancer would work remotely but be available for the occasional meeting in London or Manchester (expenses covered). The main type of work would involve plotting facilities with drive time catchments and analysing isochrone demographic (ONS) data. Other projects may involve thematic mapping of indicators and working with MasterMap software to plot open space areas and link with Access databases.
Depending on experience we would pay between £7.50-17.50p/h.
Subject to project deadlines we would estimate that there will between 1 and 3 days work each week.
